ARMA AVIATION AWARDED WLSS-T TASK ORDER TO CONDUCT AVIATION FLIGHT AND MAINTENANCE TRAINING IN AFGHANISTAN
TAMPA, FL. – June 5, 2017 – The U.S. Department of the Army, Army Contracting Command, awarded ARMA Aviation a task order (TO) contract supporting the Non-Standard Rotary Wing Aircraft Project Management Office, under the Worldwide Logistics and Support Services-Training IDIQ. This TO is valued at $23M if all option periods are exercised. The period of performance is a 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods. The TO provides training support services for the Afghanistan National Defense and Security Forces (AND-SF) for rotary and fixed wing aircraft in Afghanistan. Training includes: aircraft maintenance and flight training, flight simulator training and operation, and English as a second language training and testing.
