James is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ARMA Aviation. Since 2004, James has been personally involved with the US Army’s efforts to train, equip and sustain the Afghan National Defense Forces and other allies worldwide. Prior to founding ARMA, James led a business line at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems with responsibility for providing aviation and defense material, logistics and services to numerous U.S. allies. James was also the co-founder and President of ARMA Global Corporation, a provider of information technology, engineering, and technical support to US Special Operations Command and other government customers, and helped build ARMA Global from a handful of employees at inception in 2008 to become the largest professional services provider to US SOCOM in 2014 when it was sold to General Dynamics Information Technology. James began his career as a Ranger, Pathfinder and Airborne-qualified United States Army Infantry soldier and later Armor officer. He is a member of the Tampa Committee on Foreign Relations, the Young Presidents Organization, and serves on the boards of All Points Logistics, LLC, as well as the James Madison University (JMU) Center for Entrepreneurship. James holds a B.A. in International Affairs from JMU, and an M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
